“Shannon also has a gift for asking questions and directing conversation so that one might identify their own opportunities.”

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Shannon DeAngelo for nearly a decade now. In that time, I’ve witnessed her passion and desire to improve the lives of those she holds dear, as well as her community and society at large.

I have enjoyed her talent and creativity in school-related musical projects, community/regional theater, and mission work in our local neighborhoods.

Having observed her ability to put individuals of varying ages and backgrounds at ease with her open and genuine empathetic conversation, I embraced the opportunity to work with her when independent self-reflection wasn’t providing enough guidance for directing my own next chapter.

Whether from the many character analyses that she has executed in preparation for roles that she has portrayed theatrically or the numerous students and patients that she has cared for and worked with over the last several decades; Shannon has the ability to look at situations and identify challenges and opportunities in many different areas of life whether related to work, family life, or our own identity.

Shannon also has a gift for asking questions and directing conversation so that one might identify their own opportunities. Her ability to discuss topics and engage you in conversation to help you reach areas in your life that need adjusting is second to none. She is also talented in drawing connections between different tasks and actions that will help motivate and propel more good change.

We met several times and continue to touch base and re-evaluate as progress is made and new challenges present themselves. She is selfless in her availability and always willing to lend a compassionate ear. Her approach is that of collaboration versus lecture. She strives to find the approach and vocabulary that speaks to the individual.

Her insight and attention are gifts I will always be grateful for.

“Shannon provides a safe, non-judgmental space for you to discover what’s getting in the way of your health goals and then helps make a plan to overcome those challenges for good.”

I highly recommend using Shannon DeAngelo as a Health Coach.

Shannon addresses both nutrition and the underlying psychological factors that can sabotage your journey to better health. Her holistic approach has been a perfect fit for me. She has helped identify obstacles that have been holding me back such as lack of sleep, chronic stress, and a negative relationship with food.

We are creating a customized plan that addresses the root causes of my health challenges, not just the symptoms.  I am feeling empowered to take control of my own well-being while building self-awareness and confidence.

“ Shannon‘s manner was both professional and gentle, and I did not have a doubt that she was invested in providing me with the most efficient balancing possible”

I am writing to describe my experience with balancing that was provided by Shannon DeAngelo. I had been going through a very stressful time in my life, and my physical and emotional health. We are not at their best. Although I have limited understanding of why the balancing works, it did work for me. I felt energized and centered after the first treatment, and subsequent treatments gave me clarity and strength regarding my difficult life decisions.

I tend to keep seeing Shannon for balancing, and I would recommend her confidently to anyone who wants to feel better!

“ We cannot begin to thank you for all the caring and support you have provided to our nine-year-old daughter.”

It is a trying time when parents are helpless against the overwhelming and paralyzing anxiety that seemingly takes a hold of a child for no apparent reason. Our daughter had never been afraid of or anxious, so this was not easily understood by us.

What was not obvious to us became crystal clear to her because of your work. The changes we have seen include an increase in her confidence through setting goals and accomplishing those goals, and willingness, even eager, to take on activities that have been outside her comfort zone. You provided her with tools to deal with her trepidation and fears, and consulted with us about her issues and the best way to support her use of the tools.

Well, this week she walked by herself to a friend house, stayed home alone while I ran out for less than five minutes, and today she even let herself into the locked house, waiting patiently in fearlessly until we arrived home less than 10 minutes later.

The transformation has been incremental and is ongoing. The most exciting thing is her believe in herself, and strength of character to go beyond her comfort zone. The process has helped her work out her fears, but has also helped her create strategies for personal success. Thank you!

“ None of this happened overnight, it has been gradual, and you stuck with me. Thank you!”

Being in pain is debilitating and unnerving to the point that you question your own ability to determine what is real. I had chronic back pain for the better part of eight years. There was little I hadn’t tried to get relief, from injections and acupuncture, two pills and exercise. Finally, we spoke and I thought “why not?”

After six months, I am excited to say I have not taken any pain, reliever, needed to have any medical visits for the care of my back, or have any excessive discomfort upon awakening. The ability to move without pain, and function without the fog of medication has enabled me to resume my life, including playing with my kids. I cannot begin to thank you for all the caring and support you have provided me.

“Shannon helped me identify the emotional and mental blocks that were holding me back from committing to a career path and job search.”

I received two kinesiology balances from Shannon DeAngelo in June. At the time, I was struggling with frustration around finding a job and not feeling motivated in my search. From the beginning of my session with Shannon, I felt I was in the hands of an experienced professional. Since I was unfamiliar with the process, Shannon carefully outlined what the balance would entail and explained each step fully before we moved on. She was careful to make sure I always knew what was coming and that I was comfortable to proceed.
My experience with the balances was extremely successful. Shannon helped me identify the emotional and mental blocks that were holding me back from committing to a career path and job search. Events and emotions from my early childhood and adolescence that I had long since ignored resurfaced in such a way that I was able to address them. This provided me with an enormous release that greatly improved my mood and happiness after our session. Moreover, after our session, I felt an increase in my confidence in my abilities and my motivation to send out job applications. Importantly, at the end of our second session. Shannon helped me think ahead to how I might feel in the future if my job search did not go as I hoped. When, a few months later I found myself getting frustrated again, I was able to think back to the balances I had done previously with Shannon and use the insights she had helped me uncover to stay motivated.
I think this work is an incredibly useful way for people to identify the emotional and mental blocks that are preventing them from pursuing their goals or being connected to their past experiences. I am grateful for the kinesiology balances I received from Shannon and believe they could be of great service to those struggling with any emotional or mental conflict.

“ Ms. DeAngelo’s skill level is well developed, her professionalism and compassionate demeanor are an asset to her delivery of service.”

I had a severe rash affecting my entire body. I had been to a walk-in clinic and was prescribed steroids. I also went to a chiropractor who suggested the healing process may take several months. I decided to attend a personal balancing session with Shannon. I attended two sessions with Miss DeAngelo and found the holistic approach that focuses on healing the mind, body, and spirit Restored my body‘s natural balance and enhanced its ability to heal itself and help prevent further spread of the rash. That only did the balance treat the symptoms of the rash, but it also addressed the underlying cause of the problem.

The balance was a positive experience because it enabled me to release my inner blockages so I could move forward and embrace my physical and emotional well-being and release my untapped potential.
